Perfect timing is never by accident. When Jeanne forwarded a Weekly Truth email to her son, she had no idea it would provide exactly the guidance he needed at a crucial moment. Read how a timely message—and a structured decision-making tool—helped him navigate a difficult workplace challenge with confidence and clarity.

Recently, my friend Jeanne shared a story with me about one of our Weekly Truth emails. I had added her to our CRM, and she began receiving these messages regularly. Feeling prompted, she started forwarding them to her adult children.

One day, Jeanne received an unexpected call from her son. To her surprise, he was reaching out to thank her for sending the most recent Weekly Truth titled “Do You Have a Process for That?” This particular message focused on our principled decision-making tool, The Dignity Chart.

The timing could not have been better: her son went on to describe a work issue he was struggling to resolve. He had been searching for the right course of action but was unable to find a solution that felt both just and effective. When he read the article and saw the structured approach outlined in The Dignity Chart, he felt empowered—confident that he could now make a decision that upheld the dignity of his employee while also considering the common good of the company and its stakeholders.

As Jeanne and I reflected on this, we couldn’t help but recognize the significance of what had happened. She hadn’t just forwarded an email—perhaps, in a moment of divine inspiration, she was moved to share something that her son needed to see at exactly the right time. And because of that, he was able to apply the language and process we teach, even without having taken the Fundamental Training.

This is the power of clear, principled messaging. When rooted in traditional Church teachings—founded on The Dignity of the Person and The Common Good—it resonates deeply and leads to Optimal Principled Decisions.

Thank you, Jeanne, for sharing your son’s story and for being an advocate for the Authentic Leadership!
