[Dallas, Texas] – The Authentic Leadership Foundation is excited to announce its participation in North Texas Giving Day, a renowned regional event dedicated to fostering philanthropy and supporting non-profits. The event, which will take place on September 19, provides an opportunity for donors to contribute to the non-profits of their choice, with the added incentive of matching funds to amplify the impact of each donation.
“We’re honored and pleased to be a part of this tradition,” said Pierre Koshakji, Chairman of the Board of the Authentic Leadership Foundation. “We hope it will inspire our friends, old and new, to contribute and watch their support multiply, for the benefit of the students we train.”
This marks the Foundation’s inaugural year participating in North Texas Giving Day, and the organization looks forward to leveraging this opportunity to further its mission of empowering future leaders through targeted training and development programs.
North Texas Giving Day is an annual event that has become a cornerstone of regional philanthropic efforts. In 2023, the event raised an impressive $63.9 million from over 97,000 donors, benefiting 3,249 nonprofit organizations. This marked an increase from the $62.6 million raised in 2022, demonstrating the growing impact and generosity of the North Texas community.
The mission of the Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) is to improve the lives of all people in our community by investing in their health, wealth, living, and learning. CFT works to accomplish this by growing community giving, expanding community impact, and advancing community equity.
With a vision of building thriving communities for all, CFT collaborates locally and across the state with individuals, families, companies, foundations, and nonprofits through a variety of charitable funds and strategic grantmaking initiatives.
