Results Letter | Fall, 2025
Dear Friends,
We hope that you and your family are doing well. As many of you know, every six months we update our friends, supporters and other stakeholders on the Authentic Leadership Foundation’s (ALF’s) progress and recent milestones. We call it our Results Letter.
First, a reminder of ALF’s Purpose: to be a platform for leading an integrated life for both students and educators. ALF fulfills its Purpose through its Mission, which is to deliver a Path to Greatness (PTG) training framework, primarily to schools and their teachers. These educators become part of the larger ALF community of support to help their students discover their individual paths to greatness. This PTG framework focuses on:
principled decision making (using our PDM Process™)
building character strength, and
developing clarity of mission.
The Results: students and educators who can integrate faith & work/school to pave their path to greatness. This path becomes a “force multiplier.” It helps anyone, regardless of background, take what’s in their God-given tool kit (gifts) and do exponentially more to fulfill their potential. It is how one becomes an authentic leader: by not only doing great things but drawing greatness out of others.
Where are we now?
The Authentic Leadership Foundation is currently engaged with three High Schools, at various stages (freshman entry, four-year continuum):
Bishop Dunne Catholic School (Dallas, TX), forming 320 future leaders
St. Isidore Academy (Dallas, TX), forming 60 future leaders
St. Thomas More Academy (South Bend, IN), forming 50 future leaders
We are also very excited about our Holy Cross College Initiative: we have begun a collaboration with Holy Cross College in South Bend, Indiana on a multi-pronged initiative:
A high school authentic leadership program for newly elected student government officers for the Holy Cross high school network of schools around the country.
An athletic department program for administrators, coaches and athletes
A campus-wide program for students
An authentic leadership certification program for working professionals at the Notre Dame/Holy Cross joint campus in downtown South Bend
The Principled Decision-Making (PDM) AI Tool is on track to go LIVE by the first week of December! What does this mean to you? Let’s say you were faced with a difficult, possibly ethically challenging decision at work: you could open the PDM AI Tool, answer a short series of prompts that map the conditions and variables. In minutes, you’d generate a concise decision brief you can share with your team, and/or use for your own discernment. This is the same framework we teach students and will be available to you at no cost.
We will unveil the PDM AI Tool at our annual BRING OUT THE GREATNESS event on Monday, December 8, 2025. Our keynote is Jim Keyes, recipient of the Authentic Leader Award—former CEO of 7-Eleven and Blockbuster, and best-selling author of Education Is Freedom. Jim will share practical insights on leading with principle in complex times.
