Results Letter | Fall, 2024
Dear Friends,
It is our hope that you and your family are doing well. Every six months we’d like to bring to your attention important information and “catch you up” on ALF’s progress.
First, we’d like to state that ALF’s Purpose is to be a personal growth platform for students and educators. ALF fulfills its Purpose through its Mission, which is to deliver Principled Decision-Making (PDM) training for students and educators and provide a community of support to help them grow. The results are students & educators who:
- Make principled decisions
- Show strength of character
- Execute on their unique mission
Here’s Where We Are Now
- We are finalizing lesson plans with the core team at Bishop Dunne, our first high school training program partner. Training will be delivered to students in a sequential manner, beginning with the freshman class in January 2025. A grade will be added every fall until the entire school is engaged in the training. Please click and scroll down the page to see an example of the high school curriculum.
- We’ve charted a path to sustainability, serving 30 schools by 2032 and laying the groundwork to raise $600,000 in the next 12 months toward our $5 million goal.
- We're working with an AI company on what's called a “large language model” or LLM to scale the Authentic Leadership program to support anticipated growth. In brief, you will be able to pose a question or problem to the Authentic Leadership AI model, and it will suggest a solution based on our Catholic Christian leadership resources. The goal is to make the model available in Fall, 2025.
How Can You Help?
It's actually quite simple: We sincerely invite you to learn more about ALF:
- Complete the self-guided tour, beginning with the 3-minute video on the problem we solve (all this is found at the top section of our home page).
- Come to Bring Out the Greatness! on Monday, December 9th, our largest community event of the year and meet some folks.
- Learn about our “SPONSOR a Student for Greatness!” donor program to make an immediate impact on training more students.
Please know that we welcome your questions, suggestions and support, for which we are very grateful.
Gratefully,
Pierre Koshakji
Chairman of the Board, on behalf of the Authentic Leadership Foundation
